Deep Dark Brown
This is the darkest level of the brown. In some women the irises amost apear black. You shoud go for colors that are in the medium to dark range and see which color suits you best. Sometimes you may have a problem that your eyes may look to harsh and or dark. For that reason, it's important to use lighter flecks of color in your iris to select highlight colors. The contrast between the darker colors and highlight is visually pleasing!
Light Brown
Light brown eyes are unexpectedly stricking. It is best to use a very pale yellow as a highlight. But be sure not to over power your brown shade. Limit the darker shadows to use in the crease area. You can give the finishing touch by applying some eyeliner!
TIP: liquid eyeliner should only be used above your top lashes.Use a pencil or eyeshadow under you lower lashes.
Hazel
This color of eye is great with colors that are just alittle darker than your normal skintone would be. Champagne and mauve colors look great with hazel. But the key to make the hazel really stand out is to line them with another colors such as violet, bronze or dark brown. Apricot and or pink highlight works well woth this color, too. Pass on the black eyeliner... it tends to overpower the hazel!
Green eyes are rare, so you would want to celebrate with a wide varirty of makeup looks. Acording to green eyes, "opposites attract". Bring out green eyes with makeup that is red-based. Opt for raisin-colored eyeliner and plum eyeshadow. If your green eyes are close-set, separate them by using a lighter pencil from the inner corner to the middle of your eye. You should use darker plum tones on the outer edges of your eyes.
Blue
Some of the best colors or shades of eyemakeup for blue eyes are earth tones. This means gold, brown, bronze, or orange. One of the first things to think about when you are looking at eye makeup is the shape of your eyebrows. A rich brown in the eyebrow can set off blue eyes just as well as a brown eyeshadow.
